May 18, 2018 8:30am-4:30pm
The Recreation and Physical Activities Building (RPAC)
The annual Ballam Women’s Symposium theme this year is “Be the Change,” with a focus on how we as career professionals can create change in our own lives and in the environments around us. Our speakers will address the challenges, solutions, and tools that can be part of the professional working woman’s life. No matter where you are in this journey, the Symposium will provide an opportunity for you to ask questions, build confidence, and create a road map to further your vision for life.
Our keynote speaker is Nicole Greer of Vibrant Coaching (https://www.vibrantcoaching.com/). Her mission is to energize, impact and influence individuals and organizations to lead a vibrant life by making what is possible - probable. Her presentation is titled “S.H.I.N.E. Live a Vibrant Life” and uses her unique coaching methodology as a vehicle for attendees to explore accountability, drive, and personal vision. Packed with applications, tools and take-aways, this keynote and additional coaching session equips attendees with a simple model for living vibrantly.
The focus this year is on providing specific takeaways and tools that attendees can implement in their lives to create change. Speakers have been carefully selected based on their content and ability to provide these takeaways and tools. There will also be networking opportunities to mingle with other career women.
The Symposium this year is jam packed with great presentations and will be a day-long event. This is a chance to focus on YOU, away from the office, as you meet other women from across the University.
A light breakfast and healthy lunch are included in the Symposium.
