A little Q & A...
Q. What is your title and in what department do you work?
A. I am the Senior Writer in The Ohio State University College of Medicine. I’m part of the college’s Communications and Marketing team and I also get to work on content with the larger team at the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center.
Q. What do you like most about working at Ohio State?
A. Ohio State is an exciting place to work, learn and grow. I really appreciate the diversity of backgrounds and experiences of the many people, students and leaders I work with and get to write about. I think it is really exciting to be around so much discovery. I also love that I can work slowly towards my master’s degree while working full time.
Q. How has ASFW helped your career development?
A. ASFW has expanded my world beyond my day-to-day and allowed me to meet people from across campus who are in roles that are very different and varied from mine. The utility of topics covered, from imposter syndrome to negotiating salary, have helped me personally and professionally.
Q. I'm happiest when...
A. I am happiest when I am spending time outside with the ones I love. Equally happy curled up with a good book.
