Dr. Rebecca Ricciardo
Programs Co-Chair [email protected] Board position: Programming co-chair Pronouns: she/her/hers OSU position: Assistant Professor of Teaching Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry What do you most love about working at Ohio State? I appreciate the opportunity to be scholarly in teaching and connect with students and colleagues each semester. In my view OSU = opportunity for both students and staff. To be a part of a student’s OSU journey in a supportive way is truly a gift. Fun fact/hobby: In my non-OSU time I am a hobby sewist. I love to make bags, purses, and wallets. I make quilt blankets here and there also. I am always on the lookout for unique fabrics, and clever fabric pairings. My favorite tote bag has science fabrics of serotonin molecules coupled with neurons, and I call it my happy tote. What does ASFW mean to you? My experience is that ASFW is a group of folks that embody equitable advancements for OSU staff and faculty. It is a place where I am accepted, supported, and can contribute my talents. ASFW is a means to network with others and work collaboratively to lift each other. To me, being a part of ASFW means impact, it means support, it means value, it means connectivity. |
