A little Q & A...
Q. What is your title and in what department do you work? A. Fiscal Manager, Department of Psychology Q. What do you like most about working at Ohio State? A. I absolutely LOVE the environment of the university community; from the beautifully landscaped grounds to witnessing how this place continues to make a difference in Ohio, the nation, and the world through research and teaching! I feel lucky to have met and continue to work with some extraordinary people who have shown a great amount of pride for their work and the university. Q. How has ASFW helped you with your career development? A. ASFW has given me a great deal of confidence through the programming and conference events I have attended. It has provided unique opportunities to engage in insightful conversation with other women across the university, to spend time in self-reflection where substantial growth occurs, and to learn from dynamic and influential speakers. I have felt more prepared to step into leadership roles in my career because of the guidance and support I have experienced with my involvement with ASFW. I am extremely grateful for the women who plan and coordinate these events, for the women who attend the events, and the growth and connections that are made at each event. Q. I'm happiest when... A. I am helping others or advocating for a cause I strongly believe in. With ASFW in particular, I have the opportunity to advocate for women's professional and personal development while building relationships and providing a source of support for other women on campus. ASFW certainly fuels my soul while my career fuels my lifestyle. I also love spending time with husband, family, friends, and fur-baby, Phoebe. Sharing moments of laughter with them definitely fills my heart with joy. |
