ASFW is here to help you be innovative, have influence and find inspiration.
Women have a long and proud history at The Ohio State University. ASFW is part of that. We formed as a volunteer organization in 1930 to connect and empower women who want to see each other succeed.
Today, we continue our rich tradition by providing quality networking and career advancement events to help you flourish at Ohio State and beyond. We work closely with The Women’s Place and The President’s Council on Women to identify and create opportunities for you to meet individuals from all disciplines across the university and strengthen your professional and leadership skills.
Our Mission: The Association of Staff and Faculty Women is a dynamic organization committed to supporting the professional development of all staff and faculty at The Ohio State University.
Title IX: ASFW was one of several programs named in a complaint against The Ohio State University that alleges discrimination against men and violation of Title IX. Like the university as a whole, ASFW supports Title IX and is committed to providing equal access to its programs and activities. ASFW responded to and cooperated with all requests from Ohio State’s Office of Institutional Equity and the Board for ASFW is actively working to ensure that its long-standing dedication to inclusivity is clearly articulated in its programming and publications.
