Gender Initiatives in STEMM
The mission of Gender Initiatives in STEMM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics and medicine) is to facilitate the recruitment, retention and advancement of women faculty members from diverse populations in STEMM disciplines and increase the presence and success of women in those fields.

Project CEOS-Comprehensive Equity at Ohio State
The goal of Project CEOS is to increase the representation and advancement of women in academic science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) careers through research-based interventions that transform the workplace culture. These interventions will increase women’s participation in the scientific and engineering workforce at Ohio State. Participating colleges include Engineering, Veterinary Medicine, and the division of Natural and Mathematical Sciences in the college of Arts & Sciences.
The Women's Place
The Women’s Place serves as a catalyst for institutional change to expand opportunities for women’s growth, leadership, and power in an inclusive, supportive, and safe university environment consistent with the goals of the Academic and Diversity Plans.
University Center for the Advancement of Teaching (Faculty and TA Development)
Supporting all those who teach at Ohio State.
University Staff Advisory Committee
An advisory body to the president of The Ohio State University and an advocate for more than 22,000 university staff.
Community Resources:
National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO)
Represents the interests of all women entrepreneurs across all industries and across the world.
Open Educaton Database (OEDb)
Includes two financial aid guides specifically for women to help make college more affordable. Website contains available grants, scholarships, fellowships, and more.
Women for Economic and Leadership Development (WELD)
Providing women with specific tools to enhance their individual economic status, and building programs, events and a community to support female leadership development and business growth.
YWCA Columbus Leadership Series
Bringing together professional women from across central Ohio, The Leadership Series provides meaningful networking opportunities and practical knowledge that attendees can use in their work and everyday life.
